SPLIT: SPLIT: Split Summer Festival June 14-Aug. 14: International festival of opera, concerts, drama, dance and street theatre. Huge calendar event, with spectacular program.

TROGIR: Mid June to mid August: Summer Music Festival, Trogir, classical and folk music.

SIBENIK: Last week June, first week July: International Children’s Festival, puppets, parades, theatre, music and dance.

DAKOVO: Dakovacki Vezovi (Dakovo Embroidery), acclaimed folklore show of the regions Slavonia and Baranja (beginning of July).Traditional folk costumes& folklore. Major calendar event.

OSIJEK: the Osijek Summer Nights (during June, July and August): A rich outdoor program of culture and entertainment, with lavish  food and fairs on offer.

POZEGA: St. John's Bonfire (21st of June) and "Kulenijada": a charming and earnest celebration of the very best Slavonian paprika-flavoured sausages (kulen), served with local wines (end of June, beginning of July).
