LIBERTAS DUBROVNIK SUMMER FESTIVAL: The highlight on Dubrovnik's social calendar and an international event! 10 July-25 August 2008. OPENING NIGHT GALA EVENT WITH FIREWORKS 10 July. KORCULA: 29^th July : Moreska &  St. Todor

HVAR: Summer Festival: June- September. One of the oldest festivals of the coast, lasting 100 days, and drawing from all the arts.

SPLIT: SPLIT: Split Summer Festival June 14-Aug. 14: International festival of opera, concerts, drama, dance and street theatre. Huge calendar event, with spectacular program.

TROGIR: Mid June to mid August: Summer Music Festival, Trogir, classical and folk music.

SIBENIK: Last week June, first week July: International Children’s Festival, puppets, parades, theatre, music and dance 23 June- 7th July; St. James Day (25th of July), the patron saint of the city, is festively commemorated

ZADAR: Annual Festival of the Full Moon in Zadar: A beach-festival where restaurants prepare massive fish, and revellers enjoy traditional  music until dawn on the beach and in the streets.

CRIKVENICA: The Exhibition of Croatian Produce  (5th-12th of July).

CRES: Cres Cup Regatta and the Reception of Old Ships (2nd/3rd of July)

RIJEKA:  The Rijeka Summer, concerts and theatrical performances in the Old Town, on Trsat, in the cathedral of St. Vitus (in June and July; the Biennial of Young Artists - international exhibition of young artists - painters, sculptors, alternative artists (1st of July - 30th of September)

PULA:  Histria Festival 21 June-6 Sept; the Croatian Film Festival, held annually since 1954 in the Arena; the Pop Music Festival "Arena" , also held in the ancient Arena; Reggae Festival; 

ISTRIA & the Brijuni Islands: ULYSSES THEATRE summer months in Istria, and on the island of Mali Brijuni. Classic theatre performances.

ROVINJ: Modri Biser (Blue Pearl Festival) - international youth pop music festival

MOTOVUN FILM FESTIVAL 

RAB: Sveti Kristofor (July 27) Patron Saint.

MALI LOSINJ: International tennis tournaments - Losinj Riviera (in June and July); Fishermen's Nights (July to August); Brass Orchestra and the Majorettes - held every week (from 1st of July to 31st of August).

ZAGREB: International Folklore Festival

DAKOVO: Dakovacki Vezovi (Dakovo Embroidery), acclaimed folklore show of the regions Slavonia and Baranja (beginning of July). Traditional folk costumes& folklore. Major calendar event.

OSIJEK: the Osijek Summer Nights (during June, July and August): A rich outdoor program of culture and entertainment, with lavish  food and fairs on offer.

POZEGA: "Kulenijada": a charming and earnest celebration of the very best Slavonian paprika-flavoured sausages (kulen), served with local wines (end of June, beginning of July).
