CAVTAT :The most popular event is the Day of Our Lady of the Snows (5th of August).

CILIPI: Traditional Sunday folklore performances and Farmers' Market.

MAKARSKA: Cultural Summer Festival - a rich program of drama, Dalmatian singing groups and other folk traditions; Fishermen's Night and the Night of Kalelarga (night of the town).

HVAR: Day of St. Stephen the Pope (2nd of August), with a large procession; Summer Festival: June- September. One of the oldest festivals of the coast, lasting 100 days, and drawing from all the arts.

BOL: 5th August: Our Lady of the Carmel. The folk feast of Our Lady of the Snows ,  Procession with music and feasting.

SPLIT: SPLIT: Split Summer Festival mid June -mid Aug; International festival of opera, concerts, drama, dance and street theatre. Huge calendar event, with spectacular program.

SIBENIK : the Summer Organ School (in the second half of August) and the Sibenik Summer..

TROGIR: Mid June to mid August: Summer Music Festival, Trogir, classical and folk music.

SALI, DUGI OTOK: UZANCE Festival Culturally rich festival featuring hilarious Donkey Races & celebrating Sali Traditions. Beautiful island.

PAG: The Assumption of Our Lady (15th of August): significant local feast, and the summer carnival days, featuring colorful, original masks

CRIKVENICA: Crikvenica Festival: Traditional feasts

RIJEKA:  the Assumption on the 15th  August, and the Nativity of the Virgin Mary on the 8th of August; The Biennial of Young Artists - international exhibition of young artists - painters, sculptors, alternative artists (1st of July - 30th of September)

PULA:  Histria Festival  late June-early Sept; Arena Art & Music Festival

ISTRIA & the Brijuni Islands: ULYSSES THEATRE summer months in Istria, and on the island of Mali Brijuni. Classic theatre performances.

ROVINJ: Rovinj Fiesta

MOTOVUN Truffle fair, Black truffle tasting

MALI LOSINJ: Fishermen's Nights (July to August); Brass Orchestra and the Majorettes - held every week (from 1st of July to 31st of August).

SINJ: Sinjska Alka first Sunday in Aug. Major event. Traditional knights’ jousting tournament.   

OSIJEK: the Osijek Summer Nights (during June, July and August): A rich outdoor program of culture and entertainment, with lavish  food and fairs on offer.
