KORCULA:

28th of April, on St. Vicenza's Day : marks the ancient tradition of the defence by the local Chivalrous Society "Kumpanija" . Their games, called "kumpanijas", form part of the fascinating traditions in Blato.  Kumpanija is a chivalrous fight between two armies, depicted in costume as a sword and dramatic flag "alfir" dance.
